This morning when I went to get Ivy out of her bed I noticed that not only was she lying sideways, but that she had her feet through the rails. She seemed perfectly content to hang out this way, so I actually left her room for about 10 min before she decided she was serious about getting out of bed. I tried to tickle her feet to no avail. ;)

Headphones
Ever since Ivy was little... Phil has wanted to put his big headphones on her. These are the noice cancelling kind, so all you are supposed to be able to hear is the music, not anyone else.
So here she is at 4 months, hooked up to Phil's iPod.
And here she is now. She came up to Phil and wanted the headphones. She seems a lot more interested in looking at the iPod and listening than she did at 4 months.

Halloween
Phil and I have always had a lot of fun dressing up for Halloween. We've done it almost every year and hope to continue doing so. Here's some of our favorite costumes.
2008- Phil's a Magician, I'm his assistant and Ivy is of course the white rabbit coming out of his hat!
2007- Bug Catchers! This was Ivy's first Halloween and she was a lady bug. We figured the best for us would be to catch her!
2006- Phil and I were Gomez and Morticia Addams. It was a lot of fun. I was working at a High School and NONE of my students recognized me. It was fun to have the crazy long black hair.
2003- We were Woody and Jessie from Toy Story. That year for Christmas, my sister gave us the Woody and Jessie d

olls!Ivy's Halloween
This was the first year that Ivy was really able to participate in Halloween. Last year she was really too little to be able to enjoy any of it. I do remember letting her taste some powdered sugar from the frosting I was making...
Here she is digging into her candy after trunk-o-treating. And we did let her have some Smarties at the end. Phil pointed out that we can give her a couple and she won't realize that she's not getting all of it. :)
